Prepare skater give-away bags, decorate room, etc. |

Set-up room for parties, buffets, banquet. |

Pick up pre-ordered hospitality items, pick up groceries. |

Set up and maintain food table for judges/officials before/during an event. |
|
Clean up following an event. |

Maintain hospitality supplies. |

Home-cooked Food (Provide “specialty” food items cooked or baked at home for parties or holiday buffets.) |

Twice yearly organize hospitality closet. |
|

Test Session Assistants
|
|
Greet and check-in skaters, judges, coaches, and volunteers. |
|
Collect music tapes and CDs, distribute info packets, direct people to locker rooms, etc. |
|
Maintain notice board. |
|
Make copies for Test Chair. |
|
Play skaters’ cassette tapes and CDs as well as standard dance CDs during Test sessions. |
|
Runners for Test Sessions (Deliver results from the copier to the Test Chair. Deliver music from Check-in to/from the sound table.) |
Ice Monitors
|
|
Check names and fees paid. |
|
Supervise skaters rink-side during sessions. |
|
Play music. |
|
Ability to commit to a scheduled time at the rink is necessary. |
General Tasks
|
|
Maintain bulletin board, display case, and information bins with current information and forms. |
|
Reporters/Photographers (Write articles, cover events, take photographs for website & newsletter. Submit brief articles to local area newspapers.) |
|
Publicize club activities. |
|
Liaison with Burlington Figure Skating (BHSA) for new members (posters, information sheets, attend ques./answer session at rink once or twice per BHSA season). |
Fundraising
|
|
Organize activities to generate funds for events, club and/or skater support. |
Education/Seminars
|
|
Arrange presentations or classes to club members. There are many topics of interest to our skaters, parents, and coaches. |
|
|
