Roberta Bailey - 781-395-2155 regbails@aol.com.  Roberta has 37 years of coaching experience focusing on all levels of Free Skating, Moves in the Field and power skating.  She is the Director of Medford Figure Skating and Co-Director of "EDGEWORKS" Skating Programs.  Coach of New England and Eastern Competitors.  Roberta also Skated Professionally in The Ice Capades, and has passed the Professional Skaters Association Basic Accrediation test. Roberta currently has availability on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays during Winchester Club ice times.

Erika Hoffman - 401-486-8525 erikahsk8s@aol.com.  Erika has 10 years of coaching experience and is a full member of the Professional Skating Association (PSA).  She has attended several PSA and USFS seminars including PSA Nationwide seminars, regional PSA seminars, USFS Coaches College and Training Festival for Synchronized Skating.  She has a Gold medal in Freestyle, Moves, Dance, Free Dance and all International Dance tests and a Canadian Gold medal in Dance and Freestyle. Erika has competed figures at regionals and sectionals. Competed various levels (Novice, Jr and Sr) of Ice Dance regionally, sectionally and internationally.  In addition to skating individually, she has been involved in Synchronized Skating for over 15 years- competing and medalling Nationally and Internationally. Erika has been a Member of the Haydenettes Synchronized Skating Team since 2003 and has won 3 National Gold Medals, 2010 World Bronze Medalist. 

Cheryl Scalia - scalia518@gis.net   Cheryl is a member of the USFSA, junior freestyle and 7th tester and a member of the Professional Skater’s Association holding a Registered rating in Moves and Freestyle, continually involved in furthering her education as a coach.  She has her Sports Science and Medicine & Hockey Accreditation certificates. She is currently a Professional Instructor, giving private and/or group instruction to students of all ages at various arenas. Cheryl enjoys coaching hockey and figure skating. She has been teaching skaters for over 20 years

Lynda Murphy - lyndamurphy226@msn.com.  In 1980, Lynda graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in physical education.  Lynda has been on staff with the Winchester Figure Skating Club since 1977.  For the past 30 years, Lynda has been responsible for the instruction of students in all levels of competitive USFS, moves, freeskate, and badge programs.  Lynda is an active member of the Skating Club of Boston and the Professional Skating Association (PSA) and currently holds a rating with them.  She has been a professional with BHSA since 2000, and is also Co-Director of "Edgeworks," a USFS basic skills school with locations in Burlington, Woburn, Medford, Malden, and Everett.  Along with private hockey edge and power classes, she also runs "fundamental skills hockey clinics."

Elise McNamara - 781-626-1131 eemcnamara2@suffolk.edu Elise is a junior at Suffolk University. She skated with Burlington Hockey and Figure Skating Association for eleven years. She represented the Winchester Figure Skating Club where she was coached by skating professional Christina Welch. Elise has competed throughout New England in various competitions including the Bay State Games where she received a gold medal. She was also part of the University of New Hampshire’s synchronized skating team for two years where they competed at regional and national competitions where they received gold and silver medals.  This is Elise’s first year coaching and she is excited to be with WFSC. She has also coached at the BHSA and Billerica tots programs .  

 Jacqueline Lovato - 732-492-3029 Lovatoja@gmail.com  Jacqui Lovato graduated from Miami University with a degree in Sports Studies and a minor in Nutrition. At Miami she spent four years on Miami’s Senior Varsity Synchronized Skating Team. Jacqui helped the Senior Team to two National Championships and Team USA’s first World silver medal. She has been coaching for 10 years, starting with individual figure skating in her hometown of Lincroft, New Jersey, has coached at Miami’s Summer Skating Camps, which included freestyle, dance, moves and synchronized skating, and is now the coach of The Colonials. She is a gold medalist in moves and dance and has passed her novice freestyle.

Sherri Benedetto - 781-248-1751 sbenedetto@rcn.com.  Sherri competed when she was younger winning various medals in interclubs and open competitions.  She is a bronze medalist in freestyle and a silver medalist in  moves in the field.   Sherri also competed in New England Regional competitions.  She has been teaching professionally now for 19 years and is a member of USFS and the PSA.  Sherri is also on staff at the Hayden Rec Ctre located in Lexington.  She coaches various levels of freestyle and moves in the field and also works with hockey players.  Sherri is a screened sign language interpreter, an ASL teacher and knowledgeable in Spanish.  She is currently working on her pre gold dances.  Sherri has availability during club ice time on Thursdays.

Christina Welch - 781-820-1140  Welchd@rcn.com.  Christina is a United Skates Figure Skating Association 7th tester.  As an amateur, she skates with the Winchester Figure Skating Club and trained under Donna Mancini.  She won medals in Interclub, Open and NE competitions in figure and freestyle events.  Christina turned professional in 1988.  She is head coach of BHSA and gives professional instruction to private students at Winchester FSC, Colonial FSC, and the Hayden Rec Center.  She is an active member of the Professional Skating Association (PSA) and attends seminars to keep informed on changes in figure skating on a yearly basis.  In 2009, Christina passed all 4 courses for the PSA continuing education credits in Ethics, US Figure Skating Rules, Sports Safety, and International Juding Systems (IJS) making her a compliant coach in category A for the 2011 qualifying season.  In 2010 she also passed Sports Safety/Science and "coaching the young skater."  Christina enjoys coaching all levels of skating.

Connie Cataldo

Kristen Ward - kriscward@comcast.net, Kristen is a 2003 Eastern sectional champtionship competitor, 2003 North Atlantic Regional Champtionship pewter medalist, and Colorado Champtionship pewter medalist.  Kristen is a USFSA gold medalist in Freestyle and moves in the Field.  She has a very extensive competitive career and retired from competitive skating in 2006.  She trained under master-rated coach Debi Leeming for 12 years.  Kristen has her apprentice program teaching certificate and basic written exam through the Professional Skating Association (PSA), where she is also a member.  In addition to her private students, Kristen is a coach with BHSA providing group instruction to all levels of skaters.
